Safety first

In addition to the robust, safe body, the Octavia Tour also protects passengers using modern active and passive safety elements. Your safety is always our priority.

Passenger safety is enhanced by relatively inconspicuous details. The rear seats contain three headrests whose height and position can be adjusted, and the middle passenger has a full three-point seatbelt.

Driver and front passenger airbags are included in all cars today as standard, so you will also find these features in the Octavia Tour. In the event a child seat is placed in the front, the passenger’s airbag should also be equipped with an off-switch. The ceiling light contains a deactivation indicator, so you don’t forget to turn the airbag on again.

Depending on the engine version you choose, the Octavia Tour is equipped with an ABS system preventing the brakes from locking during intensive braking, as well as ASR to regulate slipping. If requested, the car can be equipped with an electronic ESP system that can, depending on how the steering wheel is turned and the speed, calculate and set the optimum conditions for going round a bend, with the aim of eliminating skidding.
